Calaveras Aviation Services is a general aviation service provider that may aid you with your aviation transportation needs.

Owner James Reed may provide direct services to fulfill your mission.  Mr. Reed has been active in the aviation industry since 1968 beginning as a U.S. Navy Radial Engine War Bird mechanic, servicing T-28 B&C powerplants during the Viet Nam War.  He specializes in aircraft powerplants, accessories and specialty fabrication.  He is an FAA certified airframe and powerplant mechanic and an instrument rated commercial pilot certified to operate single and multi-engine aircraft.  Mr. Reed specializes in General Aviation aircraft product knowledge and offers links to popular products and many unique General Aviation service providers.
Mr. Reed also holds a Bachelors Degree in Vocational Education, a Master's Degree in Teaching, in School Administration and is a Doctoral Student. James holds California Teaching Credentials as an Education Specialist, in Vocational Subject Areas in Secondary and Community College Settings, and has earned as well, an Administrative Services Credential. Mr. Reed actively teaches Special Education classes in the local school district to Young Adult Learners.
 
Calaveras Aviation was established in 1998 providing specific powerplant services, routine aircraft repairs and aircraft personalizing, mission design and procedure implementation. Most frequently serviced aircraft include Beechcraft, Cessna and Piper.  Our Seneca II aircraft is based at Calaveras County Airport (CPU) and at the Stockton Metropolitan Airport (SCK).
